While in the forests of Nyungwe of Volcanoes National Parks, you are advised to have long pants, long-sleeved shirts, and blouses, as well as a pair of sturdy walking shoes and not forgetting the rain gear plus gloves, can be of added value. Sometimes you can walk through values and hills in the forests prompting slips and thus, better prepared for such kind of an adventure.
Safety and Security
Rwanda is considered one of the safest if not the safest country in Africa although as a precaution, we advise our clients to not carry large sums of money in public or in a handbag as the saying goes, never attempt to wake a sleeping dog, in case you can, use the safes at hotels for your valuables, passports, and cameras. Do not always head out alone without anyone knowing your whereabouts, seek your guide’s advice while out on safari and if he is not available for advice, consult the hotel or lodge management as they always have useful information to help you get around easily.
